Crash Involving Overturned Truck Shuts Down Stretch Of Busy Roadway In Hudson Valley
A crash involving an overturned truck has shut down a stretch of a busy roadway in the region. The crash happened in Northern Westchester during the height of the morning commute on Friday, May 12 on eastbound Route 35 in Somers between Wood Street and Cobbling Rock Road at around 7:40 a.m. The closure continues as of 8:45 a.m. Check back to Daily Voice for updates.

Man Crashes SUV After Taking Two Police Agencies On Area Pursuit
A man was injured following a pursuit with Westchester County Police and New York State Police after crashing the SUV and fleeing from officers. The incident started around 9:15 a.m., Monday, Feb. 22, when Westchester County Police received a Real-Time Crime Center alert about a vehicle traveling with improper license plates on the northbound Taconic State Parkway in Mount Pleasant, said Kieran O'Leary, spokesman for the Westchester County Police. Man Killed In Crash After Losing Control Of Car Near I-684, Police Say
A 59-year-old man was killed after losing control of his vehicle and slamming into another vehicle on Route 35 near the intersection with Interstate 684 in Katonah, said Bedford Police. The man, a New Rochelle resident who police declined to identify, was driving west on Route 35 in a Lincoln Continental car service vehicle around 10:30 p.m., Thursday, July 11, when the vehicle crossed the median and struck a guardrail on the east side of the highway, said Bedford Police Lt. I-684 Stretch Reopens After Pickup Truck Crash Leads To Daylong Closure
Update, 8 p.m. The stretch of southbound I-684 that was closed for nearly 15 hours has now reopened. Department of Transportation workers removed the Katonah/Cross River overhead sign severely damaged when a pickup truck crashed into a support structure early Sunday morning.
