Area Man ID'd As Fatal Crash Victim Police have identified a 36-year-old Fairfield County man killed in a two-vehicle crash on Route 34 in New Haven County on Tuesday morning. Christopher Etes of Sandy Hook was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash near Buckingham Road, according to the Derby Police. Etes, who was driving a Jeep when he crashed into a box truck, was the driver at fault in the incident, Derby Police said in a statement.
