Fire Displaces Salt Point Family Of Four A family of four in Dutchess County was temporarily displaced over Memorial Day Weekend after their house went up in flames, destroying a garage and partial living space. All hands were on deck at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 24, where there was a reported house fire on Ring Road in Salt Point. Crews were able to contain the fire mostly to the garage - which housed an apartment - before it spread to the main house.
