New Superintendent In Hudson Valley Comes From Neighboring District
A school district in Westchester has named their next leader who will be coming from a neighboring district in the county. Raymond Sanchez will serve as the next superintendent of the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns, district officials announced on Wednesday, May 17. Police in Northern Westchester are investigating a social media threat reportedly made by a student threatening violence. In an effort to keep students, parents, and visitors to Ossining schools safe during emergencies, the district has installed a new safety measure at a time when school shootings are becoming commonplace.
