Three Area Locales Among Most Dangerous Places In Upstate NY, New Report Says The Hudson Valley is home to some of New York’s most dangerous places, according to a brand new report. Citing FBI data from 2017, NewYorkUpstate.com ranked the 30 most dangerous cities and towns with populations greater than 5,000 residents by aggregating crime counts in each locale.
