Man Charged After Firing Shots On Area Roadway Near Homes A 38-year-old man is facing two felony charges after state police say he fired shots across a busy area roadway near neighboring homes. Troopers were dispatched to Bloomer Road in the town of Southeast on Saturday, Sept. 1 after receiving a complaint of shots fired.  An investigation found Gueorgui A. Stoytchev of Southeast discharged a legally owned Winchester 30-30 across State Route 6 within 500 feet of the houses, state police from the Brewster barracks said.
