Man Who Reported Being Shot In Dutchess May Not Have Been, Police Say A man who told police he was shot in the buttocks while walking down the street, might not have been shot after doctors couldn't find a bullet hole.  The incident took place around 2:26 .m., Sunday, May 17, when the City of Poughkeepsie Police received a 911 call reporting a person shot in the of Spruce Street. Five From Dutchess Among Area Residents Charged With DWI Over Weekend With local and state police agencies cracking down on drunk, drugged and distracted driving, several local residents were among nearly two dozen in the area who found themselves on the wrong side of the law over the weekend. As part of the STOP-DWI Independence Day week-long crackdown, State Police troopers busted several motorists for driving while intoxicated as they attempt to stop motorists from drinking and driving in the area.
