Car Coming Off Taconic Parkway Crashes Into Booth At FDR Park A motorist had to be extricated from a vehicle after crashing into a booth at FDR Park in Yorktown Heights. First responders were dispatched to the park at approximately 3:20 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17, when there were reports of a motor vehicle crash that required the extraction of the driver after he drove through a booth. Officials said that upon arrival, first responders found the driver trapped in the car, alive and conscious, standing inside, but unable to exit on his own.
