Lane Closure: I-84 In Hudson Valley To Be Affected A lane closure will impact traffic on a busy highway in the Hudson Valley for numerous days, officials are warning.  Beginning on Sunday, May 21, one lane of Interstate 84 eastbound and westbound in Putnam County from Exit 58 (Ludingtonville Road) in Kent to the Connecticut state line will close, according to the New York State Department of Transportation.  The closure will last from Sunday, May 21 through Thursday, May 25 as well as Tuesday, May 30 through Thursday, June 1 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.   The lane closure is to accommodate roadway striping, officials said.&nbs…

One lane of the eastbound highway is expected to close in Putnam County, between the Connecticut state line and Exit 58 (Ludingtonville Road) in the Town of Kent. Officials said the closures are set to take place Sundays through Thursdays between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. beginning Sunday, May 8 through Thursday, June 30, between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Officers conducting a traffic safety and inspection check on Ludingtonville Road at approximately 12:15 p.m. on Jan. 27 said that they observed a pick-up truck being driven by Apex, N.C. resident Peter Nanos, 22, which had several equipment violations.
