Man Beat Friend To Death During Fight At Area Home, DA Says Prosecutors have filed formal charges against a man accused of beating his friend to death during a fight in the region. Albany resident Keron Payne, age 34, was arraigned on one count of second-degree murder and one count of first-degree manslaughter in Albany County Court on Monday, March 25.
