Rite Aid Announces 20 NY Stores Slated For Closure After Declaring Bankruptcy
Rite Aid has announced specific store closures just days after the struggling pharmacy chain filed for bankruptcy.
Of the 154 closures nationwide announced on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 20 are in New York, 14 of which are on Long Island.
Rite Aid currently has 2,100 stores and about 45,000 employees.
The Long Island stores slated for closure are:

Prostitution Sting: Undercover Officers Bust Masseuses In Hudson Valley, Police Say
Three women were arrested on Thursday, June 8, following an undercover prostitution sting in New Windsor, and authorities say residents should expect more busts like this in the future.
Officials said the sting began after several residents and nearby businesses complained to police about suspicious activity. Officers said the women did not have their massage licenses, and each solicited sex from them.

Two men are facing charges after a traffic stop in the Capital District led to the discovery of about 400 pounds of cannabis.
Troopers in Saratoga County stopped a vehicle traveling on I-87 in Wilton at about 12:10 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 10, New York State Police reported.
After an investigation, police discovered hundreds of pounds of cannabis in the vehicle, authorities said.
