Hudson Valley Man Charged With Homicide In Fentanyl Death
A Hudson Valley man has been charged with homicide for allegedly selling fentanyl to a man who later died. Orange County resident Timothy Lempicki, age 36, of Washingtonville, a village in Blooming Grove, was indicted by a grand jury on Thursday, Nov. 30. According to Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler, Lempicki was also charged with manslaughter, and criminal sale of a controlled substance. Two Dutchess County alleged drug dealers have been charged with the criminal sale of controlled substances after an investigation by a drug task force. Dutchess County residents Tyrese Elting, age 24, of the town of Poughkeepsie, and Brandon Mima, age 20, from the city of Poughkeepsie were arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 14 during separate raids by the Dutchess County Task Force. A Hudson Valley man is charged with both possessing and selling illegal drugs discovered by authorities during a search of his home, police said. Putnam County resident Enrique Negron, age 41, of Brewster was arrested on Tuesday, May 9 just before authorities executed a search warrant at his residence at 104 Main St. (US Route 6), according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office. An area man was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance/fentanyl following a warrant search of his home. The warrant was served in Dutchess County on Friday, Dec. 9 in the town of Hyde Park. The Dutchess County Drug Task Force arrested Jamie H. Three boys have been arrested for allegedly selling drugs at a high school in the region in connection with three girls exhibiting overdose symptoms. The three Sullivan County juveniles were arrested on Tuesday, March 15 after police responded to Monticello High School after receiving a 911 report of a female student who had possibly overdosed on an unknown substance.
