Roadway Down To One Lane Due To Crash In Area A major roadway in Northern Westchester is down to one lane due to a single-vehicle crash that involved a utility pole. The crash, at 538 Millwood Road, in New Castle, took place around 11:06 a.m., Tuesday, May 11, has closed one lane of the roadway, said the New Castle Police. The lane of Milwood Road is closed between Hogh Meadow Road and Longview Lane in order for Con Ed workers to repair or replace the utility police, police said. Motorists are asked to avoid the area or to use caution as flaggers are in the area. No information was available regarding injuries or power outages. …

Roadway Remains Closed For Replacement Of Downed Utility Poles Town of Greenburgh police are advising drivers that Pipeline Drive is temporarily closed while repairs are made to two utility poles. The poles were damaged on Tuesday, Nov. 12, during a crash by a Town of Greenburgh vehicle. The road reopened for the evening rush hour, but was closed again Wednesday, Nov. 13 as Con Ed resumed work. Town of Greenburgh Police Chief Brian Joseph Ryan said workers anticipate the roadway will be closed for at least six hours.
