Police: Pleasant Valley Woman Made 7-Year-Old Stay Outside During Storm A Hudson Valley woman was taken into police custody after allegedly punishing a 7-year-old girl by making her stand outside in the rain with no shoes during the weekend storm, police said. New York State Police troopers were dispatched to a Denise Court residence in Pleasant Valley on Saturday, Feb. 10, where there were reports of a domestic disturbance involving the 7-year-old and 39-year-old April Gadonniex.
