19-Year-Old Found Dead At Juvenile Detention Center In Region An investigation is underway after a 19-year-old man was found dead at a juvenile detention center in the region. Emergency crews in Albany County were called at around 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, after staff found the man unresponsive at the Capital District Juvenile Secure Detention Facility, located in Colonie, police said. Medics performed life saving efforts, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Fugitive From Justice Nabbed In Hudson Valley For Stealing 2 Cars In 2 Days, Police Say A 19-year-old man who was a fugitive from justice was nabbed again for stealing two cars in two days from the same town. The unidentified man was arrested in Rockland County on Tuesday, Sept. 13, in Suffern. According to Suffern Police, officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle on Thursday, Sept. 8. Video surveillance captured the suspect and officers were able to identify him shortly after receiving the report.
