Punches, Car Crash: Would-Be Robber Attacks Man In Area Neighborhood Police are investigating a late-night attempted robbery in the region that caused a minor car crash and left a man injured. The Rensselaer County incident happened just before midnight Wednesday, Oct. 11, in Troy’s Lansingburgh neighborhood, according to Troy Police. Detectives said the victim was sitting in his car near 6th Avenue and 103rd Street when a man approached and brandished a gun,  demanding his marijuana. 14-Year-Old Shot To Death In Region Identified, Police Seeking Tips Authorities have identified a teenage boy who was shot to death during a weekend of gun violence in the Capital District that left six others injured.
