Danbury Man Faces Drug Possession Charges In Pawling Stop

PAWLING, N.Y. -- A Danbury, Conn., man was arrested Monday on drug possession charges after being stopped on Route 22 in the town of Pawling by New York State Police.

William Lashley, 19, was stopped by troopers about 9:53 p.m. and found to be in possession of concentrated cannabis and marijuana, police said.

Lashley was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana, police said. 

He was arraigned in Pawling Town Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail, police said.
