UPDATE: No injuries were reported after three trucks collided in the left lane of the Manhattan-bound George Washington Bridge’s upper level this morning.
Crews had the scene cleared 80 minutes after the 7:20 a.m. crash, the Port Authority’s Joseph Pentangelo said.
Fuel spilled in the left lane, requiring a cleanup, and extensive backups choked highway approaches and local roads through the morning commute.
No summonses were issued, Pentangelo said.
