PAWLING, N.Y. -- Virginia Mikalsen, 75, of Pawling, died Monday, Sept. 12. She was 75.
She was born Oct. 6, 1940, in Manhattan. She was an active member and treasurer of the Sons of Norway.
She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Mikalsen; and brother James.
She is survived by her son, Thomas (Caroline) Mikalsen; two daughters, Kristine (Kevin) Lynch and Barbara (Joseph) Caldwell; eight grandchildren, Ryan, Kayla, Connor and Aleksandr Lynch, Andrew, Matthew and Mary Mikalsen and Emiliana Caldwell.
Family and friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Horn & Thomes Inc. Funeral Home, 83 E. Main St., Pawling. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Saratoga National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
