Adrienne Margaret Cook, 97, Of Pawling

PAWLING, N.Y. -- Adrienne Margaret Cook, of Pawling, died Monday, Nov. 14. She was 97.

Born June 5, 1919, in Manhattan, she was the daughter of Oscar and Barbara (Gessner) Weiss. 

Before retiring, she worked at Newsday in Long Island as a teletype setter. She was a communicant of St. John’s Church, Pawling and a member of the Catholic Daughters.

She was predeceased by her husband, Frank George Cook. 

She is survived by her sons, Bruce (Anne), Jay (Nancy), and Peter; daughters, Ann (Paul) Sola and Barbara (Dennis) Keeler; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Horn & Thomes Inc. Funeral Home, 83 E. Main St., Pawling. Catholic Daughters will conduct a service at 2 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John’s Church, 39 E. Main St., Pawling. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Salem.
