Truck Rolls Over At Busy Westchester Intersection During Winter Storm

Following a truck rollover at a busy Westchester intersection amid a major winter storm, police are warning residents to avoid all travel if possible.

The crash happened on Tuesday morning, Feb. 13, when a truck rolled over at the intersection of South Ridge Street and High Street in Rye, according to the City of Rye Police Department.

Although the crash appeared grisly, the driver was not injured, authorities said.

The department used the incident as an example to warn residents to stay home during a major winter storm that is expected to last through Tuesday evening.

"Please avoid the area and avoid all travel unless absolutely necessary," the department wrote in a social media post.
