Truck Slams Into Overpass On Parkway In Westchester: Was Following GPS, Police Say Multiple lanes of a busy parkway in Northern Westchester had to be temporarily closed after a truck crashed into an overpass, police said. The incident happened on Saturday, Jan. 27 just before 1 p.m., when a box truck crashed into the Bedford Road overpass on the northbound Saw Mill River Parkway near Exit 28 in Pleasantville, according to Westchester County Police Public Information Officer Kieran O'Leary. School Bus Cameras To Be Installed By More Hudson Valley Districts: Funded By Illegal Passers In an effort to catch drivers who illegally pass stopped school buses, Putnam County has entered into an agreement with a company to add cameras on stop sign arms to catch violators.  The county's new partnership with BusPatrol America to add cameras on school bus stop-arms was announced by County Executive Kevin Byrne on Thursday, July 20.  The agreement will now enable the six school districts within the county to deploy the cameras on their school bus fleets.
