String Of Drug Arrests: 5 Suspects Face Charges In Hudson Valley
A total of five people face drug-related charges after authorities made arrests in three separate incidents in the Hudson Valley, police said. The five arrests were all made by the Narcotics Enforcement Unit in Putnam County and stemmed from three incidents on Tuesday, June 13, Wednesday, June 14, and Wednesday, May 31, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office. A 34-year-old area man is facing felony DWI charges after his involvement in a crash near the Taconic Parkway, police say. Putnam County Sheriff’s Department officers say they responded to a Putnam 911 dispatch that reported a one-car property damage accident on Peekskill Hollow Road in the area of the Taconic State Parkway on Saturday, June 8 around 7:45 a.m. Further investigation revealed that the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to meander from the roadway and strike a tree head-on, police say. Armed Man Found With 'Murder Manifesto' After Traffic Stop In Area, Authorities Say
A 31-year-old armed man found with a "murder manifesto" is facing multiple charges after a traffic stop in the area, according to authorities. At approximately 12:40 p.m., March 18, Putnam County Sheriff Sergeant William Quick observed an erratically driven vehicle commit traffic violations on Route 301, in the Town of Carmel, Putnam County Sheriff Robert L.
