An Amber Alert has been canceled after two young children who were abducted have been found safe and their father was taken into custody after the suspicious death of their mother. The discovery of a body inside an apartment in Westchester has prompted a police investigation. The woman's body was found on Tuesday night, Aug. 29 at an apartment building in Yonkers at 48 Saratoga Ave., according to Yonkers Police Detective Sergeant Frank DiDomizio. The body of a former varsity soccer standout in Northern Westchester who went missing in California was discovered inside an abandoned U-Haul, according to authorities.
