Alert Issued For Man Missing Three Days Who Could Be In Westchester, Police Say
A man has gone missing in the area and state police are asking the public's help in locating him. Joseph Murtha left his sister’s residence located at Jameson Hill Road in the town of Washington in Dutchess County at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 9 and may have traveled to Westchester, according to police. He is 6-foot-2, about 150 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes and is reported to be wearing a blue T-shirt, brown leather boots, and black sweatpants. ID Released For NYC Woman Found Dead In Hudson Valley Stream
The identity has been released of a 36-year-old woman who was found dead in a stream in the Hudson Valley. State Police responded to a 911 call for a body found in a tributary to the Wappinger Creek, accessible from Maloney Road in the Town of Wappinger, on Feb. 27, 2018. The deceased has been identified as Ashanti Moore of Brooklyn. An investigation has revealed that Moore had traveled through or stayed in the areas of the Hudson Valley, Binghamton, Buffalo, and Pennsylvania from August to September 2017, prior to her death, state police said. ID Released For Victim Of Fatal I-84 Crash
The identity of the man killed in a crash on a stretch of I-84 near the junction of I-684 on Wednesday was released Friday morning by state police. The crash, involving a Jeep and tractor-trailer, led to the closure of the westbound lanes. The operator of the Jeep, 63-year-old Queens resident Donovan S. Grant, was pronounced deceased on scene. Initial investigation suggests a Jeep Liberty operated by Grant was traveling on the I-84 eastbound entrance ramp from I-684 northbound, state police said.
