The 7-year-old died on Thursday, June 17, when she was drowned by her mother in Westport, who later killed herself, according to the Westport Police. Born in Danbury, she was the beloved daughter of Eric Malon of Westport and the late Tracy Do. Layla was a student at Coleytown Elementary school. Forty-six-year-old Tracy Do, of Westport, was found dead around 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, at 1 Lyndale Park, after police responded to the home for a report of an unresponsive female, said Westport PD Lieutenant David Wolf. Westchester Woman Found Dead Under Vehicle In New Canaan The identity has been released of a Westchester woman whose body was found under a vehicle at around noontime Tuesday in New Canaan, police said. The New Canaan Police, New Canaan Volunteer Ambulance Corp and New Canaan Fire Department were dispatched to a residence on South Bald Hill Road on a report of an individual that had been discovered pinned underneath a vehicle and not responsive.  Arriving first responders located the victim underneath the vehicle, and it was determined that the victim was dead and had been underneath the vehicle for an unknown length of time, police said.
