Saw Mill Parkway Stretch Reopens After Crash This story has been updated. A section of the Saw Mill Parkway has reopened after a serious crash caused its closure for hours in Northern Westchester. The crash, on the southbound side, happened near Exit 42 (Route 117) in Bedford on Friday morning, Feb. 7. The roadway reopened around 9:30 a.m. During the closure, traffic was detoured off at Exit 42 to southbound Route 117 to Exit 39back onto the southbound Saw Mill River Parkway.

The southbound lanes of a stretch of the Saw Mill Parkway have reopened after a serious multi-vehicle crash. The crash occurred south of Exit 42 (Railroad Avenue) in Bedford at around 8:30 a.m. Nearby, Route 22 reopened in both directions after a downed tree and wires in the area of Route 138 in Lewisboro. There were also earlier delays on southbound I-684 just before 9 a.m. after a crash just north of Exit 8 (Hardscrabble Road) in North Salem) that is blocking the right shoulder.
