Schorr Announces State Senate Run
Dan Schorr is the latest candidate to run for County Executive George Latimer's old state senate seat. Schorr, a White Plains resident, announced Thursday he is seeking the Republican nomination to represent the 37th District. The seat became vacant when Latimer was elected county executive. Spano Drops Out Of Senate Race
YONKERS, N.Y. -- Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano will not be running for state senate. Spano, a Democrat, who announced his candidacy last month to represent the 37th district in the seat left vacant by George Latimer's ascension to Westchester County Executive, dropped out of the race Thursday.
