Alert Issued For Fairfield County Woman Last Seen In New York
Police are searching for a Fairfield County woman last seen in New York who has been missing for more than three weeks. Michelle Pierce, 41, also known as Michelle Schmader, of Stratford, was last seen in Oneida County, New York on Aug. 16, said Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti. Pierce reportedly has a history of medical problems and is considered an endangered missing person, he said. Information received suggests she could be in Rome, New York. A female New York State Trooper is facing charges of coercion after allegedly pretending to be a man while having an online relationship with a Nassau County woman and threatened to post naked photos of the woman. Jennifer Daignault, 31, of Rome in upstate New York, was arraigned on Tuesday, Aug. 20, before Judge Meryl Berkowitz and charged with coercion in the first degree and two counts of coercion in the second degree.
