NY Attorney General Joins Effort Urging Federal Action To Stop Robocalls New York Attorney General Barbara Underwood has joined a coalition of elected officials calling on the Federal Communications Commission to create new regulations allowing telephone service providers to block robocalls. Last year, at the urging of a coalition of Attorneys General, the FCC granted phone service providers authority to block certain illegal spoofed robocalls.
