Saw Mill Parkway Stretch Reopens After Crash
This story has been updated. A stretch of the Saw Mill River Parkway has reopened after a crash involving an overturned vehicle late Thursday afternoon, Nov. 14. The crash, reported just before 4 p.m., was northbound at Quaker Road (Route 120) in New Castle. There were already delays on the roadway after an earlier crash at the entrance to the northbound side of the parkway at Roaring Brook Road in Chappaqua at about 3:15 p.m.

Expect Delays: Lane Closures Scheduled On Busy Area Roadway
Construction involving lanes closures will cause delays on a busy roadway in Northern Westchester on Saturday, Feb. 16. The work will be done on Route 117 near Roaring Brook Road in Chappaqua from 9 a.m to 6 p.m., New Castle Police said. The work will involve lane closings, road saw cutting and road excavation. Following a brief holdup, Whole Foods has found a new date for its grand opening at Chappaqua Crossing. Earlier this week, developers announced that they would be delaying the scheduled grand opening of Whole Foods, which was scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 12. A crash caused the closure of a stretch of the Saw Mill River Parkway near the border of Mount Kisco and Chappaqua. This story has been updated. Numerous accidents are being reported Friday morning amid the slick road conditions as a result of the Nor'easter.
