Father Jumps To Help Son Who Fell Onto Tracks At Station In Westchester Thanks to quick-thinking Metro-North officials and first responders, a person who fell on electrified tracks at a Northern Westchester train station and his father, who leaped in to help him, were rescued from the perilous situation.  The incident happened on Friday, April 12 around 10:30 a.m., when a person fell from the platform at Croton-Harmon Station onto electrified tracks, according to the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department.  After the fall, the person's father immediately jumped to help his son and put himself in harm's way in the process, according to the department.  …

Missing Toddler Rescued From Train Tracks Near Station In Westchester: Video Several Metro-North employees are receiving recognition for rescuing a missing three-year-old boy who they spotted on train tracks near a station in Westchester.  The incident happened on Thursday, April 6 around 3:15 p.m., when MTA Locomotive Engineer William Kennedy was operating a southbound Hudson Line train north of Tarrytown station when he noticed a young child on the northbound track, according to MTA officials.  Kennedy then sent out an emergency radio communication to all nearby train crews to let them know about the child.  Soon after this, northbound Train 737, operated by Loc…
