Fire Breaks Out On Tracks At Scarsdale Metro-North Station, Causing Delays A small fire broke out on the tracks of a Metro-North station in Westchester, leading to delays for riders during the morning commute. The fire was first reported at 8:26 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 24, on a third rail at the Scarsdale Metro-North station, MTA spokesman Aaron Donovan said. The incident led to delays of approximately 25 minutes on the Harlem Line.
