New Update: Woman Dies After Being Struck In ShopRite Parking Lot By Driver From Hudson Valley A woman died from injuries sustained after being struck by an SUV being operated by a Hudson Valley resident in the parking lot of a ShopRite in northern New Jersey on Labor Day, sources tell Daily Voice. The incident happened in Bergen County in the parking lot of the Route 4 supermarket just after 1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 4. Second Westchester Man Charged With Stealing $10K Worth Of Designer Handbags In Greenwich Police have arrested a second Westchester man in connection with the theft of more than $10,000 worth of handbags from a Greenwich Avenue store. Gerald Smith, 48, of Mount Vernon, was arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 20, for the Jan. 15 theft, said Greenwich Police Lt. John Slusarz. On April 4, Greenwich Police arrested Joshua Spillman, 40, also of Mount Vernon, and charged him with organized retail theft greater than $10,000, conspiracy to commit larceny and larceny.
