A Northern Westchester man will spend more than a decade behind bars after being sentenced for stabbing a Black teen during an unprovoked dispute last year. Suspect Indicted For Attempted Murder For Stabbing Teen In Westchester
A Northern Westchester man is facing attempted murder and a host of other charges for allegedly repeatedly stabbing a 17-year-old girl earlier this year. Ossining resident Robert McCallion, 35, has been indicted by a Westchester County Grand jury for stabbing and attempting to kill a high school student in March, District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr. announced. Car Crashes Into Dry Cleaners In Westchester
A car crashed into the front of a Northern Westchester dry cleaners, taking out the entire window. The incident took place around 6 p.m., on Wednesday, May 1, when the sedan plowed into the front of the Greenest Organic Cleaners, in Ossining, said Ossining Police. According to Ossining Chief Kevin Sylvester, the driver simply stepped on the wrong pedal and plowed into the business on North Highland Avenue. No one was reported injured.

Man Surrenders In Connection To Westchester Shooting
A Northern Westchester man is in police custody in connection to a morning shooting. The Ossining Police Department announced that Mario Mieles of Ossining turned himself in on Thursday night as the investigation into a shooting at approximately 4:45 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10 on Van Cortlandt Avenue. The shooting led to a road closure between North Highland and Cortlandt Place during the police investigation. Mieles’ victim remains hospitalized, police noted. Man Hospitalized In Westchester Shooting
Police in Westchester are investigating a Sunday morning shooting that left a man hospitalized. Officers from the Ossining Police Department responded to a reported shooting at approximately 4:45 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10 on Van Cortland Street, near the Cortlandt Ridge housing complex. One man, whose name has not been released, was hospitalized. His condition was not immediately available on Monday morning.
