Ballots are still being counted, but the Westchester County District Attorney’s race could already be decided, according to challenger Mimi Rocah. Force-On-Force Drills Will Be Held At Indian Point
A series of force-on-force drills will take place at Indian Point Energy Center in Buchanan, officials announced. The security drills are being held by Buchanan-Entergy on Tuesday, June 18 and will use weapons that “simulate the sound of actual gunfire,” officials say. Coyote Warnings Issued As Weather Warms Up, Sightings Start Up Again
With the weather warming up, local law enforcement agencies are warning area residents to be aware of the possibility of coyote sightings. Police in the area noted that “during this time of year, we tend to have an increase in coyote sightings. From March to May, coyotes typically have their pups and begin to look for more food. Security drills using weapons that simulate the sound of actual gunfire will be conducted at the Indian Point Energy Center, Entergy announced. During the drills, scheduled during the evenings of Tuesday, May 7 and Thursday, May 16 persons near the site may hear the sound of simulated gunfire as participants carry out the activities.
