Richard Thomas Seeks Restraining Order In Battle Over Who's Mount Vernon Mayor
The battle over who is in charge of Mount Vernon is heading to the State Supreme Court. Mount Vernon Mayor Richard Thomas and Andre Wallace, who was appointed acting mayor by the city council, will have their fates determined by a judge as they continue debating who is the actual mayor of one of New York’s largest cities. Flyers Posted About Ex-Westchester Teacher Busted For Sexually Abusing Students
The former Westchester high school drama teacher who was forced to resign in shame and register as a sex offender for abusing students is back in the news as the 2018-19 school year starts. Flyers have sprung up around Horace Greeley High School in Chappaqua lambasting the school district and former Horace Greeley High School educator Christopher Schraufnagel, who was assigned the highest degree of sexual offender status earlier this year after admitting to sexually abusing three 15-year-old students.
