Suspect Caught Stealing From Yonkers Church Donation Box Apprehended An investigation into stolen money from a Westchester church donation box led to the apprehension of a Yonkers man who fought his arresting officers, police said. Investigators from the Yonkers Police Department were dispatched to Sacred Heart Church on Shonnard Place on Friday, Jan. 19, after receiving reports of a suspicious suspect removing money from a donation box.
