Stumbling Man Hits Victim In Head With Beer Bottle During Argument In Hudson Valley, Police Say A Hudson Valley man faces assault charges after allegedly hitting a victim in the head with a beer bottle when they tried to prevent him from driving, police said.  The incident happened in Putnam County on Monday, April 24 at midnight, when Carmel Police received a report from a resident who said he had been assaulted by an unknown man in Mahopac in the area of Miller Road, according to Lieutenant Michael Bodo.  An officer then responded to the scene and spoke with the victim, who added that he had spotted the man stumbling down the road and had confronted him in an attempt to st…
