Here's Where Hochul Ranks In Popularity Among Nation's Governors, New Survey Says The early returns for New York Gov. Kathy Hochul are not great since taking over for embattled former Gov. Andrew Cuomo, according to a newly released survey from Morning Consult. In the new survey, Hochul was ranked as the fifth-least favorable governor in the US, with less than half of those polled expressing approval of her time since taking over for Cuomo, who resigned amid multiple investigations in August. Here's Latest Projected Path For Ida Hurricane Ida made landfall as a Category 4 storm in southeastern Louisiana on Sunday afternoon, Aug. 29, the 16th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, which made landfall as a Cat 3 hurricane. Ida, the ninth-named storm of the 2021 Atlantic season, was packing a wind speed of 150 miles per hour as it closed in on the coastline. That put it just seven miles short of Category 5 status.
