Luke John Oberle, 72, died on Nov. Thursday, 11 in Goldsboro, NC.
Luke was born on August 14, 1949 in Edgewater, NJ, and raised in Franklin Square, Long Island and Croton-on-Hudson, NY. At Hendrick Hudson High School, Luke performed in several musicals and plays including “Oklahoma” and “Anastasia” and was cast as Buffalo Bill in “Annie Get Your Gun.” His passion for theater continued at Harpur College, Binghamton University where he majored in Cinema Arts. Funeral Services Scheduled For Man, 30, Killed In Westchester Crash
Funeral services are planned for a 30-year-old Putnam County native who died following a motorcycle crash in Northern Westchester.
Matthew Hickey, of Verplanck, was killed while driving riding a 2016 Kawasaki motorcycle east on Kings Ferry Road in Montrose, a hamlet of Cortlandt, around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, June 27, during a crash with another vehicle, said New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks.
The crash occurred when a 32-year-old Cortlandt woman, driving a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee west on Kings Ferry Road, turned left onto Hunt Avenue, but she did not see Hickey, Hicks said.

Westchester Teacher Wins 'Jeopardy!' Tournament
A teacher Northern Westchester students won the "Jeopardy!" Teachers Tournament, taking home a $100,000 prize.
Francois Barcomb, 50, of New Paltz, a physics teacher at Hendrick Hudson High School, in Montrose, entered the final with a commanding after day one of a two-day final competition between the three final contestants with a total win of $20,400.

Filmed in April, Barcomb has had to keep whether he wins a secret.
The annual "Teachers Tournament," featured 15 teachers in total.

Westchester Resident Diana Martin, 43, Teacher In Hudson Valley
Diana Lynn Martin of Cortlandt Manor, a teacher in Orange County, died on Friday, Jan. 5. She was 43 years old.
A graduate of Hendrick Hudson High School in Montrose, she was a special education teacher for the Orange/Ulster BOCES in Goshen.
She was born in Tarrytown on Feb. 27, 1974 to James and Mary Ann Martin.
Besides her special friend Nate Long, Diana is survived by her father, James (Ann) Martin, sisters, Laura (Tyler Peck) Martin, Lisa (Brian) Foster, nieces and nephews, Natalie and Stephen Foster, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
