Armed Man On Loose After Trying To Rob Screaming Victim In Westchester Authorities are searching for a man who tried robbing a victim at gunpoint in Westchester.  The incident happened in New Rochelle on Wednesday, Oct. 9 just before 7 p.m., when a Hispanic man approached a 66-year-old woman on foot and showed a silver handgun while demanding her belongings, according to New Rochelle Police. The victim then began screaming, prompting the suspect to run from the scene into the nearby Harbor House apartment building property. There, the woman lost sight of him.
