Have you seen her or her car on a New York roadway? A Long Island woman has gone missing and authorities are asking the public's help in locating her. One person was killed during a two-and-a-half hour span when at least five tornadoes touched down in New York State this week, the National Weather Service announced following a survey of the damage, and more confirmations could be coming. A man faces charges after he was stopped from bringing a loaded handgun onto a flight at Westchester County Airport and then found to be in possession of multiple credit cards with different names. Sullivan County is leading the entire state - even New York City - in job growth, according to a new report from the state Department of Labor. Police Investigating Drowning Deaths Of Man, Woman In Their 20s In Adirondacks
Authorities are investigating the drowning deaths of a young man and woman from the Capital District who were found in the southern Adirondacks. The bodies of 24-year-old Kaydee Lyons, of Albany, and 28-year-old Matthew Banks, of Scotia, were found Friday, Aug. 19, in Tenant Creek in the Hamilton County town of Hope, State police said. The deaths are still under investigation, but the drownings appear to be accidental, police said. Lyons’ mother, Jennifer, confirmed her daughter’s death in a post on Facebook.
