House Fire Breaks Out In Westchester Multiple crews responded to a fire that broke out at a home in Northern Westchester. Firefighters responded to a report of a grill fire at a residence on Route 202 in Somers at about 5:50 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, according to the Somers Volunteer Fire Department. Firefighters found a two-story home with a fire on the exterior. With the fire spreading into the residence, crews called for additional resources in the area, officials said. State Police have also confirmed that there are no additional fatalities involved in the incident at the Muscoot Reservoir in the hamlet of Goldens Bridge in the town of Lewisboro. More than 75 firefighters battled the blaze that started around 9:44 p.m. Tuesday in the basement of a home on Anita Road, said the Somers Fire Department. The fire, which spread to the first and second floor, left the homeowner, Nancy Haggerty, a lifetime Somers resident, without any belongings and missing her four cats.
