Bicyclist Hospitalized After Being Struck By Car In Downtown New Rochelle A bicyclist required medical attention after being struck by a car near a busy intersection in Westchester. Paramedics and members of the New Rochelle Police Department were dispatched to Lawton Street, early on Thursday, Sept. 27, when an auto-bicyclist was struck by a driver, New Rochelle Police Capt. Cosmo Costa said in an email. The bicyclist was treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries and transported to an area hospital for additional treatment.
