Manhunt For Burglary Suspect Prompting Lockout Of Schools In Westchester An attempted burglary in Northern Westchester has led to a manhunt and a school lockout. The incident took place around 11:47 a.m. Wednesday when an attempted burglary occurred at 3 Lafayette St. in Verplanck, said New York State Trooper AJ Hicks. Police are not releasing many details but did confirm that the NYSP are searching for a suspect and that schools in the area are in a lockout at this time.
