A hazardous device team was called to a Hudson Valley property after a mortar shell was found during excavation work. The incident happened in Putnam County on Monday, June 17, when a caller performing excavation work at a Philipstown property on Juniper Hill Road reported the discovery of an unexploded mortar shell under some rocks, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office announced on Wednesday, June 19. Human Remains Found In Hudson Valley Identified As Missing 25-Year-Old Woman
This story has been updated with a photo. New York State Police have confirmed that the remains of a missing Hudson Valley woman are those found at the property of a new home construction site. According to New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks, the remains of Karen Angelillo Ramsey, age 25, were found in Putnam County in the town of Patterson on April 16 during excavation work at the property of a new home.
