Westchester Woman Charged With Leaving Scene Of Crash A woman from Northern Westchester is facing charges after allegedly leaving the scene of a crash in New Canaan, police say. New Canaan Police responded to the area of 1529 Ponus Ridge Road on Monday, Feb. 25 around 3 p.m. on the report of a damaged guardrail, a license plate with New York registration and some vehicular debris. The following investigation revealed that 55-year-old De Fretes Leguizamon of Bedford Hills was driving the vehicle that struck the guardrail on Monday, Feb. 18 while traveling to work.
