Alert Issued For Suspicious Phone Calls Involving New Rochelle Police Police are investigating a series of suspicious calls to local residents that involved the caller posing as a law enforcement official. The New Rochelle Police Department released an alert after residents recently reported that the received phone calls from someone identifying themselves as a New Rochelle Police employee. Police said that the caller advised the recipient that they were to respond to New Rochelle Police Headquarters to answer an alleged ongoing civil matter, alleged crime or jury duty responsibility.
