Hudson Valley Man Who Took Out Papers On Senator’s Desk Found Guilty For Role In Jan. 6 Riot
A Hudson Valley man who entered the United States Capitol Building during the riot on Jan. 6, 2021, and took photographs of a senator's papers has been found guilty of a felony charge. Dutchess County resident Christopher Patrick Moynihan, age 41, of Salt Point, was found guilty of obstruction of an official proceeding, the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia announced on Tuesday, Aug. 23. Hudson Valley Man Caught Taking Photos During Capitol Riot Enters Plea
An area man who was caught on video photographing papers on a desk in the U.S. Senate chamber during the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol has pleaded not guilty to federal charges for his role in the riot. Dutchess County resident Christopher Patrick Moynihan, of Salt Point, was arrested in February and charged with multiple crimes in relation to his role at the deadly riot.
